Pink Monochromatic Fairy Shaker Card with Janni

Hello Crafty Friends - DT Janni here today.

I want to show you how I made this super cute pink monochromatic shaker card.

The first thing I did was to decide the color I wanted to use - PINK in this case. Then I found the pads and pens and some sequins to match.
I know I have been using Distress Oxides a lot lately - but I just love working with them - and I can create exactly the background I need.

I colored up my background, a frame and banner with Distress Oxide: Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick. I stamped the sentiment using Worn Lipstick too on the little banner.

Time for some Copic coloring! I used E21-E11 for the skin and E50-E51-E53 for the hair. The rest of the cute fairy from 'Seasonal Fairies' is colored with R0000-R000-R00-R01-R11-R20-R42.

I wanted to make a shaker card - I love sequins especially 'Shimmer' Sequins - so I glued acetate to the back of the frame, added tons of sequins and 3d foam to close it.

Here you have the final monochromatic result after I added my cute fairy and the little banner - a perfect pink birthday card.

I hope you enjoyed, and want to give it a try yourself.

See you soon again.

Here is the list of products I used:
