CDD Flashback With DT Brianna

Hello everybody, Brianna joining you all today. Isn't it fun pulling out stamp sets you didn't remember you had!? Well today that's exactly what we are going to do.
I will be using the super adorable, Summer Vibin' stamp set.

Step 1: I started by using the new, Beach Scene Dies. I will strictly be using this as a stencil to create some waves/water. I didn't have any waves dies so this is a quick and easy cheat.

Step 2: Using my makeshift stencil I was able to create these fun waves. I started by using some, Salty Ocean oxide ink then flipped then stencil and used, Mermaid Lagoon oxide. This is a fun way to over lap to colors.

Step 3: I used a Distress Sprayer to add some splatters to my waves. I new I also wanted to create some colored splatters using the same inks. To do this, I just took the ink pad and rubbed in onto an aycrlic block, sprayed with water and flicked onto paper with a paint brush.

Step 4: Time to color up our gator. Copic colors used are shown in picture. I did add some white highlights to him once I was finished using a sharpie paint pen.

Step 5: Time to make things sparkle. I used my, Shimmer Sequins and glossy accents to adhere.

Finished product. I popped up my gator by using some 3M foam tape. I added a black strip of card stock along with some green striped paper to add some contrast with all the white going on.

I hope you all enjoyed dusting off this older stamp set with me.
Thanks for floating by!

Brianna
