Partial Die Cutting Technique With DT Susan

Hi, This is Susan from Inking, Stamping and Relaxing
Our tutorial this week on the Craftin Desert Divas blog is partial die cutting.

To make this card I used partial die cutting and color inspiration from our January Mood Board. We would like you to play along with our Mood Board Challenge located here.

Here is the gorgeous winter mood board:

I like having inspiration for both technique and inspiration. This post was supposed to have a video but I lost the video editor I was using in a computer update so now I have to learn a new one. Please pardon the quality of the pictures! Here is the final card:

I used the fringe die from the Party Borders die set to create part of the bottom. I used partial die cutting to get the fringe on the base. I thought doing this step was important so I could then build up a fringe border.

You can see from the photo above that I had to turn the die upside down so we are actually using reverse partial die cutting LOL!!! I did not have to adjust my cutting plates as you usually do with partial die cutting. I just flipped the die around. This resulted in the below picture.
You can see that the fringe is cut into the base teal card stock layer!

This is so easy to do.
I then cut more pieces of card stock using the full fringe die. Then I stamped a sentiment from Happy Sentiments. I then colored in the bunny balloon using Copic Sketch markers. This photo is just before final assembly. I need to check and double check all my placements.

Copic Markers:
Bunny: C00, C1, C3, R20
Winter Fox: W00, W0, W1, R20
Basket: BG000, BG01, BG10
