Masking Technique with DT Michelle

Hello there!!!
Michelle here on the CDD Blog!!!
Today I am sharing some masking techniques.
Masking is fun and easy. It adds depth and layers.

I made this in honor of the Thanksgiving Day Parade!!!
Today I am using
First, stamp the image you want whole.
Next, make your masks. Mine are the girl and unicorn balloon.
Mask tke girl and stamp the balloon.
Any position you choose is fine.
Keep the girl masked and add the balloon mask.
Next, stamp the panda balloon.
Next step is inking up the background. Keep the stamped images masked. I used a piece of scrap paper for a mask. Ink up the bottom to resemble cement and the top for the sky.
After you are satisfied with your inked background remove all masks and start coloring.

I used Copic Markers to add color.

For the cement, just little dots of color. I like to work in small sections.
I added some white accents with a gel pen.
Lastly, I added the sentiment.
I love this adorable one layer masked card!!!
Hope you enjoyed and give it a try!!!
Thank you!!!
