Die Cutting Techniques with DT Janni

Hi everyone! It's DT Janni here.

Today I want to show how to use the cloud die from 'Rainbow Die' on a new way, to make a cute little blue sky.

At first I made 2 circles with the large circle die from 'Stitched in Circle Dies' one in white for the background and one in blue.

Then I placed the cloud three different places on the blue circle and ran it through my Big Shot. That made it look like a cloudy blue sky.

Instead of using the clouds I chose to use the base I used for the cutting (and I can use the clouds for another card later)

I placed my blue sky on the white circle using some foam dots, to give it some dimensions. As you can see it's possible to use a die in a more non traditional way, and it still looks amazing.

I chose to make a blue sky, so I thought the sweet little supergirl from 'Caped Crusaders' would be perfect for this card. So I colored her up in some of my favorite pastels with a cape matching the blue sky.
For my cardbase I used my favorite die from 'Fancy Frame Dies', and the little banner from 'Flag Banner Dies' for the sentiment. Sentiment You're so brave is also from 'Caped Crusaders'. I added some sequins from 'Shimmer Sequins' and used my white pen for some highlights.

I hope you like the idea and are ready to try out your dies in new ways.

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon again.
