Favorite Copic Color Combos - DT Toni

Hello, friends! Today I'd like to share with you some of my favorite masculine Copic color combos! I chose various skin tones, neutral stone, and blue-green.  It was fun mixing up the skin tones on the zombie's face from the Zombody set (so cute!): I used my go-to E00, E02, and E11 for caucasian skin with a bit more E13 and E15 for shadows. I also overlayed just a touch of YG01 in spots for that fresh-from-the-grave zombie look. My go-to for stones is the N line of Copics: N5, N3, N1, N0 in this case. It's in-between the blue gray Cs and the warmer Ts. I did want to tie in the sky to my image so used BG000, BG01 and BG02 for his shirt.  It's such a lovely blue without being too blue, don't you think?

For the background of the card I used my current favorite Distress Oxide combo (Faded JeansBroken ChinaPeeled Paint, and Twisted Citron, applied in that order) with an overlay of sponged borders I made using the Harvest Border Dies as a mask. Those I applied using a stencil brush and Distress Oxide Vintage Photo for the corn and for the graveyard Black Soot with just a touch of the Vintage Photo at the bottom to blend into the Peeled Paint of the foreground.

Do you have a favorite marker color combo? Would love to hear what they are in the comments!
