DT Michelle Mirror Stamping Techniques

Hello there!
DT Michelle here on the CDD blog today sharing some more examples of mirror image stamping...
I used a really simple mirror image technique. The top image is the regular stamped image the bottom image on the inside of the card is the mirror image!
Products I used from the CDD shop...Twinkle Toes stamp set, Sending Sentiments stamp set, Inside Scalloped Circle Dies, Inside Scalloped Rectangle Dies, CDD Sequins, Mini Misti, mirror image stamp block, Memento black ink, cracked pistachio distress ink, cardstock, pattern paper, cellophane treat bag.
Here is how to do it...
Set the Misti up with the ballerina image on the clear door and the mirror image stamp block on the white side.
Ink up the stamp and stamp the ballerina onto the mirror image block. Do this several times to darken the image. Next, take a piece of cardstock and place it over the mirror image block and close the clear door.
This will allow you to have the image on both sides without cutting two seperate images and pasting them together.
Now we can color. I used Copic Markers in shades 'W' for the skin.

Shade 'R' for the tutu and ballet slippers, YR for the crown. Add some white accents then trim the ballerina along the ink line. I used a clear cellophane treat bag and a large circle die (from any maufacturer). Cut two circles.
Place the ballerina and some sequins between the cellophane circles and glue the edges. Ink up the base of the card with a stencil and cracked pistachio distress ink. I used a polka dot stencil.  Than I die cut the center window of the polka dot base and another piece of cardstock with the Inside Scalloped Circle die.
Adhere the cellophane shaker on top of the white base than adhere the green polka dot layer on top. I adhered the inside scallop to the window, front and inside (shown above).
I stamped the sentiment onto pattern paper and adhered it to a strip of glitter paper than to the card. I added some white accents with a gel pen. Lastly, I added a bow from the die set Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies.

Here are the links to the CDD products I used:
Twinkle Toes $14.99

Sending Sentiments $14.99

Inside Scalloped Circle Dies $30.99

Inside Scalloped Rectangle Dies $29.99
