Hi, it's EK here sharing with you today one of the new stamp sets for Craftin Desert Divas March stamp and die release. Today I have the privilege of sharing with you the new Norse Warriors stamp set.
It is ironic how things work out in life. There is a group of wives I run around with whose husbands all have jobs that have insane hours and schedules. We get together a couple of times a month and just bond...and we have always call ourselves Viking Wives, because we send our men off never really knowing when they will return. Low and behold, this new stamp set crosses my desk, a perfect stamp set to make cards or gift tags for my fellow viking wives.

We tend to gift wine to each other for birthdays or life achievements (or random Tuesdays) so I decided to whip up a bunch of gift tags meant to be hung around the neck of a bottle of wine. I stamped out both the cute viking woman and the even cuter viking man onto some

good card stock and die cut them all out using the small scalloped Stitched In Circles Dies. I then pulled out my copics and went to town coloring. Each of the different images got hair colors similar to that of my fellow Viking wife. If you really want to see how I colored these beauties (its the blonde), I whipped up a video on one of the images.
cut some heavy duty white card stock. Then I die cut using the largest circle out of some navy textured card stock. I trimmed up a bit of blue satin ribbon and started assembling the tags.
I used my favorite adhesive, 1/4" Scor-Tape, to press the ribbon

between the white large scalloped circle and the navy card stock, and then adhered all the layers. I stamped out a sentiment from the new stamp pack, and adhered it to the tags right at the bottom.
This tag lays perfectly over the neck of a wine bottle. Wine not your thing, then it would adhere perfectly to any gift package.
