Brrrr-ing On The Holidays

Hi and welcome, everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper sharing a shaker snow globe for the daily post. I love letting my patterned papers do the majority of the work for me, and these cute little snowmen are perfect inside the snow globe.

The sentiment is from the Chill Out Stamp Set and adds a fun touch inside the snow globe. Winter Wishes sentiment is from the brand new Santa's Helpers Stamp Set. The Shimmer Sequins are so beautiful inside the snow globe, they are my favorite sequins with Fairy Dust coming in second! So beautiful for creating snow.

Happy Holidays

Hello my friends, Happy to be here back again with a new little project I been wanting to make for a long time.

I recently got my hands into a Pocket Size TN (Mr. DarcyI and its all about accessorize this Bad Boy
so ahead of time I'm already adding some super cute Double sided Shaker Dashboard

Wanna take a look??

So I did everything on this card, the cute reindeer image is from the set "Christmas Cheers" just released from Craftin Desert Divas.... its coming out of a box also another stamp included on this same set....

Got some super cute "Holly Jolly Sequins" into my shaker and used the Crazy Stitches Frame Dies
I also used my Copics and Tombow markers to color the stamps, used a fuse tool, and little bit of washi tape for the "Happy Holidays" message band at the top.

This shaker dashboard is a lovely addition , a most have for my TN, honestly I keep changing my decoration according to the season, the weather, a nice stamp that I see...etc so finally decided to get into it and use my new stamps set and tools..

I'm very happy with the results, and with my new shaker dashboard...hope you girls like it and can find some inspiration in here, get yours they are already at the shop on Craftin Desert Divas

Merry Christmas

Hi and welcome, everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper bringing you the daily post and asking...where do you find inspiration? For this card, I went to Pinterest and searched Santa Boots. Of course, a vast and varied selection popped up. One thing caught my eye, a wreath with elf boots and striped legs dangling, very Whoville-ish! Something so fun, so cute, something I need hanging on my front door, for sure. I immediately knew what had to be done.

Now here's the thing, it's die-cut overload! I'm learning that sometimes you just have to go for it. Load it up with everything including the kitchen sink. What is life without risk, right?  Hey, sometimes it works other times not so much.

October Release Projects

Hello my crafty friends.  Jan's here from handcraft hobby and I am super excited to be on Craftin Desert Divas' Blog today sharing with you my projects for this fabulous October Release.  All new Release Products is now avaliable for your purchase.  Without further due, here are my projects line up for you!

Project #1 Santa's Helpers
I created this one layer card using the adorable llama from Santa's Helpers stamp with my birch tree stencil.  I stamped the llama and heat embossed the sentiment. I then masked everything off and used color dusters to create the background.  I colored all images with copic markers and used Fancy Frame Dies to make my front panel.

Here's the closer look

Project # 2 : Shake It Up Dies
I made the easel card using partial die cut technique

Here's the closer look
This Shake It Up dies are so much fun to create the adorable gumball machine and snow globe.  I stamped a bunch of snow balls from Santa's Helper stamp set inside the circle and colored them as if they're multi colors gumballs with copic markers.  The top sentiment I used is from Tiny Sentiments stamp and inside card sentiment is from Simply Said stamp.  The pattern paper I used is Doodlebug Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints paper pad

Project # 3 All 4 Mini Stamps : Camping Critters, Feathered Friends, In The Wild and Rockin Reptilians
I had so much fun creating this planner page using all 4 mini stamps (Camping Critters, Feathered Friends, In The Wild and Rockin Reptilians) and played more with my washi tapes.  I used Celebration Banner,  Honeycomb and Festival Of Trees.  I also used the banner dies from Plan It Dies and the balloon dies from Party Dies to make my balloon animals.

Project # 4 Christmas Cheer
I love this peeking reindeer so much so I have to do a peekaboo card.  And the Picture Frame dies are just the perfect dies for this project.  To make it more festive feel I decided to used the pattern paper Doodlebug Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints paper pad  and I love it.  To finish it off I sprinkled our latest sequins mixed Holly Jolly here and there.

Here is the closer look

Project # 5 : Winter Bliss, Tis The Season Dies and
Winter Wonderland Dies
I totally in love with this card inspired by Pinterest *lol* I cut my front panel using the die from Picture Frame dies and used my brick stencil to create the background wall.  I also stamped the big bow from Winter Bliss stamp and colored it with copic markers then fussy cut it out.  I cut the Santa Sleigh from Tis The Season Dies and also colored them with copic markers.  I then assembled them and it's ready to be decorated with the Pine cone, berries and leaves from Winter Wonderland Dies.  The sentiment is from Santa's Helpers stamp.

Wishing You The Merriest Holiday Season

Hi it's Janet with The Craftin Desert Divas Design team and today I am showcasing the brand new Winter Wonderland Dies. This set is stunning and so versatile. I start with an A2 white card base folded at 5.5". I then cut a red base panel using the Crazy Stitched Frame Dies. I also use the smallest frame die from the Crazy Stitched dies and cut that out of white paper. I stamp my sentiment using Tis the Season and heat emboss with clear embossing powder to give it shine. Now for the fun part!!! I die cut all the new Winter Wonderland dies out of white paper, some I cut twice, and ink them with Distress inks. You can make your project any color combo with this technique. I decided to use greens with browns and light reds with darker reds to give dimension and interest. I finalized my project with silver sequins from the Peppermint Twist mix. I hope you enjoyed this project and I hope you joined our event going on at the Craftin Desert Divas Facebook page.
