Peek A Boo

Hi and welcome, everyone! Lisa from, The Relativity of Paper, bringing you the daily post and it's all about baby's first! First Halloween, first Thanksgiving, you get the picture, right? A few months back Craftin Desert Divas released the Tiny Treasure Dies that includes a onesie, and when I saw it, I knew I had to do these projects. These cards are easy to create. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them. Such a sweet way to send holiday wishes.

Just by changing the patterned papers and sentiments you quickly change the holidays. So, it's a quick way to make all of Baby's 1st Holidays at once.

Fall Planner Pages

Hi there crafty divas! DT member Stephanie here also known as @thecreativecrafter on Instagram. I am so excited as this is my first time to be featured here in CDD’s blog. Today I am about to share to you how I decorated my planner spread with Craftin Desert Divas digital stamps!

For this week, I used a lot of digistamps under Fall category and had them colored digitally using Paint. After resizing them, I printed them out on a Matte sticker paper and carefully cut and peeled each character. For the final touch, I used a couple of washi tapes and sticky notes just to fill some of the empty spaces.

You can find all the digi stamps HERE

Sugar Skull Amor Stamps

Hello Ya'll

I have been a little MIA I do apologize for that, but here I'm back again with some terrific news!!, this past days we had the new September release at Craftin Desert Divas.... gotta share Today my favorite of them all

I love how generous this stamp set is because allows you to use a lot of colors...., also this first time I walked the plank and gave it a shot with the dies...this is so easy to use, and I worked my weekly spread using the Plan it Dies..

I made a cute bookmarks/tags to find quickly my weekly going, and I decided to use like this because I want to keep using it, I mean we are not still on November and I just found this one perfect to use, and reuse when date comes closer...

Hoping you really like how I did my weekly spread, and wish you girls have a fantastic and creative start of the Week...

Tags and Invitations

Hi everyone, this is DT Member Jeanin. Today I have several projects for you that I created with some of the new products from the September release!

For the first project I created these simple tags using the new 2x3 Barn Yard and Frosty Friends stamps. To create the tag itself I used the rectangle die from the Plan It die set and the little circle die from the Shaker Tag Die set. But before I did all the die cutting, I used different kinds of Distress Inks and applied them to mix media card stock, trying to blend them together as well as possible.

Since the images are quite small and I wanted to color them with watercolor markers, I stamped them with black pigment ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder. This way it was a little bit easier to color since the raised and embossed lines held the ink in better.

To finish the tag, I used the "Just for you" sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set and stamped it with black ink on the bottom of the tag. To adhere the little animals I simply used 3D foam squares. All I needed to do know was to find some twine and a suitable gift :)

For the second project I used the new Weekends 2x6 stamp set. I, again, stamped the images with black pigment ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder so the coloring with watercolor markers would be easier.

I used red card stock to create card bases in the appropriate size and stamped the sentiment "You're invited" from the Simply Said set with white pigment ink. Then, I adhered the images with 3D foam squares. To embellish the little cards, I used light and bright yellow card stock and die cut little stars. The star die cut is included in the Mini Shaker Clip die set and I think they are just perfect on these small invitations.
