Hello my crafty friends! Linda here from ScrapHappyLin to share with you a card I made for today's daily post on the CDD blog.
I decided to finally break out my Color Burst watercolor powder. I cut some strips of watercolor paper, lightly placed some of the powder on top, then spritzed some water. I actually thought I was going to come out pretty smooth, but there was quite a bit of water on top, so I ended up not wanting it to look perfect, so I would dry it, spritz parts of it again and then dab off the moisture - this created lovely spots that I loved. I then, used the balloon die cuts to cut out some balloons.
I colored the Panda with Copic Markers (T2, T4, T6, E93, R22, R27, R39)
Then, I used some Distress inks to create a light watercolor wash in the background and added a strip of vellum with the white heat embossed sentiment. I popped the whole thing on a white card base.
Here are all of the CDD products that I used:
Panda Pals |
The Sky is the Limit |
Party Dies |
Thanks for stopping by!
Cheers!
