4 Months Til Christmas Blog Hop & Christmas Blog Candy

Have you started your Holiday shopping yet? I hope so, only 4 more months until Christmas!!

We're so excited that you are joining us for our Christmas Blog Hop. We have each created 2 Christmas cards, one stamped and/or colored and the other using a die cut of some sort. We do this on the 25th of every month so that we won't be scrambling to make all of our cards during the Christmas season.

I hope you'll visit everyone's blog and get inspiration from their cards and leave them some love. If you like what you see please follow so you don't miss out.

If you have arrived here from the talented Shari's blog then you are in the right place! If you arrived at my blog by chance or to visit, please start our blog hop at Kerry blog so that you get to see everyone's amazing Christmas cards.

Here's my colored card. I'm using the sentiment as my "colored image". I really love this paper from Paper Studio, it's so pretty. I did an "S" fold card as I thought it made the sentiment the main focal point. I added some brads, used the Cuttlebug snowflake folder on the green cardstock behind the sentiment and added some ribbon on the inside.
Here are a couple more looks at this card:
Material:
Core-dinations Foundations Canvas Texture Cardstock
Paper Studio
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye
DCWV Christmas & Winter Cardstock Stack
My Craft Spot Merry Christmas Sentiment
Cuttlebug Snowflake
Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels
Paper Studio Spare Parts Brads
Ribbon
For my second card I thought I would make a fun Christmas card. I used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels to get this framed look on my card. I saved the punched out pieces for the inside of the cards. I really like the glossy accents on his scarf and the tiny jingle bell just completes it. I used my Martha Stewart snowflake punch and glittered up the snowflakes to add some sparkle. I also added glitter and glossy accents to the light bulbs in his antlers. Hope you enjoy!!
Material:
Winter Frolic 3"
Distress Ink Tea Dye
Xyron
Recollections Glitters
Recollections Cardstock Neutrals
Glossy Accents
Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels
Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch
My Craft Spot Jingle All The Way
Artmind Crystal Diamond Glitter

  38. Wow, Love the cards. The reindeer is so cute. I love the idea of picking one day each month to get Christmas Cards done. I may have to do this my self. I just started on few recently and I am already behind. Note to self... Beginning Jan 2013...1 day a month scheduled for cards only! I love studio J papers and I use many others depending on what am looking for. Thanks for sharing. I will share this with all my friends. Thanks for the inspiring moments you give us.

We are hoping to get away to visit the Berlin christmas markets this year so we are going to have to get al lour craft work done earlier than usual. Still, we can always buy some stuff over there if we run out of time to make it all.
